Tarte Cosmetics mini haul

Last week I received my package from Tarte. Those who aren’t familiar with the brand should know that they use all natural ingredients without using parabens (which is used in a wide range of cosmetics as perseveres however parabens can cause Estrogen-disruption which can lead to breast cancer) It is also cruelly-free which means they do NOT test on animals. Tarte along with a selected few cruelty-free/vegan brands can be found at Sephora or you can purchase TARTE products from their website.

I have used the Tarte Lights,Camera,Lashes in the past and loved the amount of volume it gave my lashes without weighing them down, I’ve also used the Amazonian Clay Waterproof Concealer and was pleased with my results so I figure I’d start to accumulate more from the brand.

Healthy glow
Weightless

Cons
luminous finish, those with oily skin will need to touch up.

Lights, Camera, Lashes

Pros
Volumizing
Buildable
Doesn’t clump as most mascaras do
Light Weight

Cons
None

Amazonian Clay 12-hour full coverage Foundation

Pros
Build-able
Matte finish
Full coverage
Long wearing

Cons
Cakey but only if you apply too much, alittle goes a long way.

Maracuja Creaseless Concealer

Pros
Build-able
Full coverage
Long wearing
Lightweight

Cons
Cakey but only if you apply too much, alittle goes a long way.
Shine (I noticed alittle shine which can be covered with a powder foundation)

Maracuja C-Brightener (sample size)

Pros
Moisturizing
Hydrating
Smoothing
Reduces dark circles

Cons
Heavy (feels heavy however once it starts to seep into the skin it isn’t very noticeable) best to use at night.
