Winter is here and the holidays are near, with that being said no one wants to be sick! Today’s post is a home remedy recipe of cough syrup which was given to me by my mother-in-law. I searched online as I personally never heard of this recipe and wanted to read up on it’s benefits. All ingredients should be in its purest/organic form to receive it’s full benefits.
If you’ve had a persistent cough for more than a week, I recommend consulting a doctor.
Directions:
Cut onion into slices not too thick nor thin.
Place first section of slices into the jar (this is your base layer for all your ingredients)
Then pour honey followed by sugar on top.
Continue these steps until you filled your jar half way.
Make sure you saturate the onion with equal parts honey and sugar.
Close lid and let it sit for 8-12 hours. Store in fridge after use.
