S.W Basics Makeup Remover Review

What Is It?

Makeup Remover made with organic oils to gently and effectively remove makeup.

Product Claims

“Makeup removers go onto some of the most sensitive skin on your whole body. So we kept ours as simple as possible (don’t we always?): some super-light, organic sweet almond oil, a bit of organic extra-virgin olive oil, and a little jojoba oil. Shake it up and put it on with a cotton ball to get off all that gunk without any burning eyes or greasy residue. And it doubles as an awesome light moisturizer, so go a little nuts with it.”

Great for sensitive skin

Leaves a greasy film

Overall Rating 4/5

I brought this makeup remover because 1-It’s make in Brooklyn (got to support my borough) 2-I needed a quality makeup remover for my layers of mascara and 3-you can even use it as a light moisturizer which works for my acne/oily skin! I found this oil to be effective however the instructions call for a cotton ball and it just wasnt working for me I found the best method was to use my fingers and work the product in with my eyes closed then use a facial towel to wipe off the excess it usually works like a charm. I do have makeup/oil residue which i usually splash with a bit of water and use my acne facial wash to completly wash my face. It’s my current facial cleasing regimen and together they work really well.
