Belle Radici-Pinot Noir Rose

Marcin ordered the limited edition Pinot Noir Rose by Belle Radici, Within minutes the wine was sold out! We are happy it arrived just in time for Valentine’s Day (we received it a week in advance) and although we weren’t able to celebrate the actual day of Valentine’s Day due to his work schedule we are able to pour ourselves a glass and enjoy it now.

Morning Coffee

I start my mornings with my medium roast coffee, a habit I’m trying to break but some days ya girl just needs fuel to start the day. With fall season slowly approaching[fall officially starts September 22nd] I’ve been reaching for blends with hazelnut or fall nostalgic aromas. And for those wondering, I still love my match latte.

If you’re interested in purchasing a similar coffee cup I got mine at Keep Cup

Thank You Very Matcha

The weather is getting warmer in New York so obviously cold beverages and other cold indulgences are the way to go. It wasn’t until some time ago last year standing in line at my local cafe wanting to disperse from my usual mocha latte my curiosity introduced me to a Matcha Latte, and I’ve been liking it every since.

Matcha is packed with antioxidants, and what does antioxidants do? They help prevent aging, fight against infections and chronic diseases. So why not get this power house packed in any foods/beverages I consume.

Glass Cup
Straw
Strawberry for garnish
1 Vegan Chocolate (heart-shape or a piece of chocolate)

Fruit Smoothie Recipe

Lately I’ve been drinking smoothies for breakfast or lunch because it is a easy way for me to consume my needed vitamins and also helps subdue my sugar cravings.

Ingredients:

A Blender
1-2 Bananas
6 oz Blackberries
3/4 Cup Califia Farms “Vanilla Almond Milk”
1 Ice Cube
Glass Cup
Chia Seeds
Straw (optional)

Directions:

I think the basic directions go without saying,

I usually just guesstimate the ratio of fruit to milk, I don’t add any sweeteners as I rely on the almond milk for its sweetness.

Aloe Smoothie Recipe

Aloe Vera has numerous benefits from easing sunburned skin and eczema to boosting your immune system, lowering high blood pressure and soothing achy muscles

This recipe can be modified, but this is how I make my own Aloe Vera Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 Banana
1/2 cup of Aloe Vera pulp
1 cup of Coconut Milk
Maple Syrup to taste
1 tbs of Chia Seeds

You can include other additives such as water or protein powder, coconut oil, honey or stevia instead of maple syrup and flax seeds instead of chia seeds.

If you try it please feel free to leave your feedback!

Harney & Sons Fine Tea

Harney & Sons is a family owned company thats been gracing every warm cup of tea for 30 years with an array of tea from green, white, oolong, herbal, decaffeinated and organic. Along with their wide range of tea they also sell bottled beverages, tea ware and tea treats.

I came across Harney & Sons while in the beverage asile at Target, I’ll admit I was instantly struck by the beautiful packaging then I began to examine the range of flavors, Green Tea With COCONUT?! I was sold! My fiancé however was skeptical, but it didn’t take long for him to indulge in a cup and say “wow, it’s really flavorful than most brands” Harney & Sons is no dupe, you’re indulging in the “real deal” of fine tea. Because of the great experience with this brand I started to try other flavors or as my fiancé would say I started collecting them 😉 what can I say they give my kitchen a pop of color and are easy on the eyes of my house guest, and who doesn’t like a dainty decorated pink tin after all the tin can be used for future crafts, a flower vase or to hold kitchen utensils (my crafting imagination is endless)

Would you join me for a cup of tea?

Mean Muggin & Coffee Mugs

Let’s be honest, Not everyone is a “Morning Person”

image

I however like to consider myself the opposite at least as of lately! Some rely on coffee to get them through the morning and there are some who prefer a cup of tea, like me.

As a Tea Drinker [not to be confused with Tea Drinking Enthusiast] I have my specific cup I claim as my tea cup, Don’t we all have that one specific cup, the one that we only drink certain beverages out of, that we secretly declair as “hands-off” to house guest because once their hand reaches for it or sips from it things somehow become “personal, like a betrayal”

No? Maybe it’s just me being overly possessive over my tea cup :-p

Well anyway onto the premise of this blog post, I decided to share some of my favorite mugs that I own at home and would also like to add to my collection!

As you pour your coffee/tea into the mug, this battery icon appears lining up to the amount of liquid poured into the mug, a way to keep an eye on how much is left to enjoy.
