Aloe Vera has numerous benefits from easing sunburned skin and eczema to boosting your immune system, lowering high blood pressure and soothing achy muscles
This recipe can be modified, but this is how I make my own Aloe Vera Smoothie
1/2 cup of Aloe Vera pulp
1 cup of Coconut Milk
Maple Syrup to taste
1 tbs of Chia Seeds
You can include other additives such as water or protein powder, coconut oil, honey or stevia instead of maple syrup and flax seeds instead of chia seeds.
If you try it please feel free to leave your feedback!
Before I talk about the benefits of Aloe Vera I just wanted to give you a short back story on my little baby Aloe Vera plant which I purchased at IKEA in June and gratefully it’s been holding up pretty well considering majority of my succulent plants have had a short life span. Every time I glimpse at my Aloe Vera plant I wonder “what beauty benefits does Aloe Vera have?” I mean instantly I knew it is used to ease sunburned skin and to heal wounds but other than that I didn’t know much about this plant that I look at and care for pretty much everyday. So I decided to do alittle research and browsed YouTube and here is what I found:
-It Mosturizes the skin with antioxidants like vitamin C & E helps keep skin hydrated and firmness
-Treats acne by stimulating new cell growth, help reduce scarring and it’s anti-inflammatory benefit helps with those occasional large painful pimples.
-Can heal serious skin conditions like Psoriasis and Eczema.
-It can reduce the appearance of recent stretch marks.
Below I posted two YouTube videos showing some informative usage of Aloe Vera:
