I am familiar with the Super Food Cleanser, and Adaptogen Moisture Cream (my two personal faves)
The Maqui+Acai Facial Oil absorbs into my skin effortlessly which is one main component when it comes to picking a facial oil.
Superfood Air-Whip moisturizer is a light weight moisturizer and hydrates my skin pretty well before makeup application.
The Super Berry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask works as an overnight treatment with more hydration giving that “morning glow” appearance the next morning. They all have a distinctive “YTTP” fragrance it’s rather clean and pleasant without being too strong or irritating.
The minis kit is great for young adults, or anyone interested in trying the YTTP product line without splurging on full size since it can be a bit pricey. Also use sparingly as alittle goes a long way. The minis are also travel friendly and all of the products work effortlessly in conjunction with one another so you can custom create your own skincare routine like a mock-tail for your skin!
The new Kat Von D True Portrait Foundation can best be describe as Light as a feather, truly it is! I used to be a die hard full coverage foundation fan but as my skin is maturing I find most full-coverage formulas uncomfortably sit on my face, back then I layered on my foundation like I was putting butter on toast! So the older I get the more breathable and light weight I like my makeup to feel and that’s exactly what I found when I purchased this foundation.
Just the other day after a grocery run I ended up taking a nap and comfortably slept forgetting I had the True Portrait foundation on! so I say it’s cat-nap approved (haha)
The formula is oily upon applying it however it is buildable and dries down to a powder finish, I usually get my desired consistency after two layers without getting caked. While you can let it set on it’s own as is you can also finish it off with a pressed powder (for a fuller finish) or a loose setting powder.
I went for a soft-neutral look with my makeup using the True Portrait Foundation, KVD Tattoo Liner, and Colourpop eyeshadows in ‘wattles’ and ‘wake up call’

This was a one time purchase for me! I currently ran out of my mask of magniminty (a personal favorite) and decided to try Rosy Cheeks since my skin is dull, new skincare products caused minor irritation and I’m having occasional breakouts. It was a very mediocre facial mask, I certainly don’t love it. It smells like roses, or rose-water which I don’t mind but not everyone is a fan of the scent.
It dries down very quickly so it can be difficult to “massage” into the skin as suggested in the directions, it looks like calamine lotion once applied and dried.
Now onto my biggest disappointments, the amount of product you get for $12 is ridiculous, The batch I brought wasn’t even filled to the top and the 2.1 oz is tiny, like fits in your palm tiny which to me doesn’t justify the $12 price tag for $3 more you can get twice the size of product for the mask of magniminty and it lasts longer. Rosy Cheeks is one of the few facial masks made only available for in-store purchase which isn’t as much of a big deal for me because I live in the city and because I won’t bother buying it again but I can see the consumer frustration if you don’t live anywhere near a lush location.
So all in all I wasn’t super impressed with the product, I’m certain their are other better face masks out their and for less than the price.

The Herbal Detoxifying Steam with Flowers + Cleansing Herbs is used to calm and nourish the skin and soul, read below as I share my experience using the product and how effective I find it to be thus far.
“This steam contains beautiful flowers and deeply purifying aromatic herbs to cleanse and nourish the skin while calming and soothing the soul. It opens pores, facilitates the release of impurities, and deeply cleanses while simultaneously nourishing and hydrating the skin. For best results, follow immediately with a clay mask.Directions: Bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Place 1-2 TBSP of the herbal blend in a large bowl. Pour steaming water over the herbs. Position face over the bowl and cover with a towel to seal in the herbal steam. Remain over herbal steam for 10-15 minutes. Enjoy this moment of serenity! Reuse the herbal water by mixing it with a clay mask or adding to bath water.”

The Apoterra Herbal Detoxifying Steam with Flowers + Cleansing Herbs has become an essential product for my relaxing “home spa” once a week and any time I feel in need of a little pick me up. I received the product in the mail 2 days before an event that had me feeling uneasy and stressed (perfect timing) so I decided it would be a perfect opportunity to give the herbal steam a try.
As I am typing this review I find it a bit difficult to put into words my overall experience with this product as it is one of those you have to try it for yourself to understand the pleasant outcome of using this herbal steam bath, In my best attempt to describe the Herbal Detoxifying Steam with Flowers + Cleansing Herbs it is like a sauna for your face with organic herbs that help relax your mind, opening clogged pores and also great during the winter season when you need help with decongestion. Though it was quite easy to rate this product a 5 out of 5 My two main reasons were quite simple: it is effective and has a multi- purpose use, it can be used as a facial steam, used in a relaxing bath soak and even mixed with a clay mask.
As I briefly mentioned I had an event coming up that made me stressed and anxious and decided to try the herbal steam bath. This was my first time using the product and I truly felt relaxed as a weight was lifted off my shoulders, my skin felt soft and had a healthy glow and after using the product I was able to feel more at ease and concentrate which I found to be difficult prior to use.
Last week I had a migraine which had me in bed and wouldn’t subside, Rather than taking a generic aspirin I wanted to take a natural approach and decided to use the herbal steam and see if it worked, and it surly did help I was able to continue my day by running errands that I was putting off due to the strong migraine that made me feel like I couldn’t function. Now I’m not saying this Herbal detoxifying steam has “magical powers” because the proof is in the ingredients!

I highly recommend the product and over all product line. I also want to mention with the holidays approaching these will make great gift ideas for those who enjoy relaxation, effective skin care and all natural products. The product line has a great range for all skin types + concerns.
I love how affordable Color Icon Eyeshadows are by Wet N Wild. I had the old formula of “Walking On Egg Shells” when it was just a trio. Now reformulated as a quad Wet N Wild added a matte transition shade which blends well, it practically matches my skin tone.
This is my simple everyday eyeshadow quad for daytime looks. With the exception of the nude transition shade the other 3 (browbone, crease and eye lid shadows) are mostly shimmer. I love how they are labeled which adds a helpful guide to the consumer as to where to apply each color although you can use them however you’d like! I personally like to also use the shimmer shades for highlighting the bridge of my nose, and qupids bow.
Overall Rating: 4.9/5
Considering this is my second time purchasing I would say I am quite the fan and for $2.99 it’s got a great price point, the colors are great for creating a everyday look and easy to take when traveling, no need to pack a big eyeshadow palette. Other than being stoked on the price I also like how easy these apply and blend together.
I am not too sure if this specific eyeshadow quad will accommodate all skin tones however they do have 5 other quads with different shades.
Have you tried any Wet n Wild products? I would love to hear your recommendations!
I held off doing a fashion post for many reasons, my internal struggle of my personal body image, I dont consider myself a fashionista by any means and I rarely dress up anymore. As someone who currently lives in jogger pants and sneakers this was one outfit I couldn’t wait to take off the hanger. The mock neck cut-out has been in fashion this year and this romper is serving up current fashion and then some! Because of the polyester material I figure the best time to wear this romper would be in the beginning of the fall season when the weather is just right. The fall vibes are in full effect with this all black outfit and I am enamoured with the bell sleeves on this romper, I feel like Morticia Addams in best way possible and paired with my fringe booties pulls the look all together. I feel comfortable, fashionable and easily styled together.
It was only 4 days ago I posted about Gucci banning the use of fur from their apparel line, and now the state of California has passed a law that requires all pet stores to sell only shelter and rescue animals, this will hopefully put an end to mass breeding, although the law won’t actually take effect until 2019.
I personally encourage everyone to adopt from shelters/rescue centers I think people have this misconception that the majority of the animals in shelters are “old, sick or vicious”. And as for families who are specifically looking for puppies let it be known, shelters DO have puppies but because they are in high demand they are usually the first to get adopted. We adopted Mila who was 3 at the time (she’s now 4) and not only does she still have the energetic vibe and playfulness of a puppy she was already house broken (no potty training here) and gets along with other animals. Many people surrender their animals for various reasons and I try not to prejudge her previous owner but in all honesty I can’t help but think “why would anyone give you away?!” she’s healthy, never aggressive, loyal and loving and just an overall great companion, and right now there are plenty more animals in shelters waiting to find a home, family and a best friend that can give them the love they truly deserve.

The Turbo-Vent Pro Shaper brush by Olivia Garden incorporates ion technology to restore hair’s balance, add luster and sheen, and smooth hair. Maximizes heat distribution for faster styling. Retractable pick can be used to separate hair and fits neatly into the ergonomic handle when not in use.”

Before I purchased the Ceramic + Ion Turbo Vent Brush and Ceramic + Ion Thermal Hairbrush I previously owned one with boar bristles (before shopping cruelty free) and it lasted me a good 4+ years so I was pretty confident when it came time to replace it. I have thin hair so I didn’t want nylon brushes that were too rough, these are effective without scratching my scalp. My hair looks shiny and also less static after a blow out I also use the retractable pick at the end for cleaning out the bristles of my hair brush.

Alcohol-free and humidity-resistant, Foam discourages frizz and provides effective thermal protection from hot tools. Great for fine hair
Easy to blow dry
Protects against humidity
Overall Rating 5/5
This foam works great on my fine thin hair, it really gives me volume without weighing my hair down nor making it greasy throughout the day. The amount of volume is noticeable compared to days I don’t use this product. I also like the fact that the AG Hair Care brand is cruelty free.
AG Hair Dry Wax
What Is It?
A mattifying dry wax for locking in style and taming frizz for hair by AG Hair Care
“The secret to no fuss hair. Dry Wax works magic on every hair type, instantly taming frizz and locking in style while adding volume and a matte, textured finish. Dry Wax is enhanced with AG’s Sea Complex, an infusion of three naturally texturizing seaweed extracts plus anti-aging seaberry oil, to add moveable definition.”
Helpful for piecey+tousled look
Good for locking frizz into place
Overall Rating: 2.9/5
The dry wax keeps my strays down I did notice it makes my hair greasy so I try to use as little as possible, I usually spray it into my hand first and work it into my hair. Using this product might take me some trial and error before getting it to work effectively, applying it straight on to the hair just releases too much pressure and product. While I personally wasn’t much of a fan of this specific product I wouldn’t be discouraged from using other products from there line as I do love their volumizing foam and have used and reviwed the AG Colour Savour Shampoo+Condition

Good for oily skin types

I didn’t photograph the product because at the time I thought it was a keeper but the day after I received it in the mail I ended up returning it to Sephora. I truly want to love this foundation for its longevity, buildable coverage and of course SPF30, As a person who loves to take 1,000 #selfies using this foundation made my skin look flawless there was no filter needed. It hid blemishes, evened out the skin-tone and held up quite well on my oily skin. My only despondency with this product is the lack of shade range, St. Mortiz was too tan for my natural skin though it photographed well and Groenland was too light and for $44 each I was not going to dish out $88 to create a in between shade. I think Nars was on to something good with this matte skin tint line however fell short with their lack of color range.
*Please note that Nars Cosmetics is owned by the parent company Shiseido whom is not cruelty free
