This palette is even prettier in person, trust me! The eyeshadows are all beautiful and fun because of the bright ,vivid colors making this is the palette I would reach for. The price is very affordable for the quality which is why Colourpop quickly gained popularity when the company started up in 2014.
Day in and day out I usually opt for neutral eyeshadows but lately I have been wanting to get creative with my eyeshadow and I found this palette which offers 9 pressed eyeshadows for $12! That’s a great deal! They blend well together and all the colors are opaque which I like.
The only downsides is the glitter fallout from the metallic eyeshadows, I noticed specks of glitter around my eyes and cheeks but it could be because I didn’t use a glitter-adhesive eye primer or it could just be the formula it self, I washed my face and noticed I still had glitter residue and some slight staining of eyeshadow left on my eyelids which was gone the second time I washed my face so that was a bit of a bummer but it didn’t put me off from keeping this $12 palette because I still enjoy the colors.
Has anyone else experienced staining from some of the pigments?

Ohh La La is the sister palette to “Its My Pleasure” this 9 pressed eyeshadow palette has a good selection of pink tones. This is a eyeshadow palette I would use when I want to play up my eyes with some color and I love the color “Sandbar” it’s a fun neon pink shade.
Now on to the things I didn’t like about the palette, Similarly to the It’s My Pleasure Palette I noticed when washing off my eye makeup (I don’t use any eye pads to remove my makeup) there was a slight stain from the eyeshadow which I was able to remove after re-washing my face and used a oil based makeup remover (read more below) I recommend using a primer on your lid to reduce staining but I still have the same issue of some fallout with these eyeshadows, but if you can get passed that (as I can) this is just another pretty affordable palette from Colourpop.
** I also want to throw out there that I read online and watched through a few YouTube videos and noticed that when trying to keep a product vegan/cruelty free certain dyes such as red30-40 is used to form the desired shade which can cause some staining because it’s a direct dye, while most non-vegan formulas use carmine which is crushed insects. Interesting huh?!
I love how affordable Color Icon Eyeshadows are by Wet N Wild. I had the old formula of “Walking On Egg Shells” when it was just a trio. Now reformulated as a quad Wet N Wild added a matte transition shade which blends well, it practically matches my skin tone.
This is my simple everyday eyeshadow quad for daytime looks. With the exception of the nude transition shade the other 3 (browbone, crease and eye lid shadows) are mostly shimmer. I love how they are labeled which adds a helpful guide to the consumer as to where to apply each color although you can use them however you’d like! I personally like to also use the shimmer shades for highlighting the bridge of my nose, and qupids bow.

Considering this is my second time purchasing I would say I am quite the fan and for $2.99 it’s got a great price point, the colors are great for creating a everyday look and easy to take when traveling, no need to pack a big eyeshadow palette. Other than being stoked on the price I also like how easy these apply and blend together.
I am not too sure if this specific eyeshadow quad will accommodate all skin tones however they do have 5 other quads with different shades.
Have you tried any Wet n Wild products? I would love to hear your recommendations!
