Just 22hours ago luxury fashion brand Gucci announced via Instagram that the brand will ditch the use of fur starting with their upcoming 2018 Collection. Although this is a great step in the ethical and compassionate welfare of animals I can also hope Gucci will also make the conscious decision to ban the use of leather and/or consider the use of faux leather as an alternative in their fashion line. With Gucci’s efforts to make a stance maybe other big luxury brands can follow lead in making similar if not, more superior decisions to bring forth ethical fashion .
