Harney & Sons Fine Tea

Harney & Sons is a family owned company thats been gracing every warm cup of tea for 30 years with an array of tea from green, white, oolong, herbal, decaffeinated and organic. Along with their wide range of tea they also sell bottled beverages, tea ware and tea treats.

I came across Harney & Sons while in the beverage asile at Target, I’ll admit I was instantly struck by the beautiful packaging then I began to examine the range of flavors, Green Tea With COCONUT?! I was sold! My fiancé however was skeptical, but it didn’t take long for him to indulge in a cup and say “wow, it’s really flavorful than most brands” Harney & Sons is no dupe, you’re indulging in the “real deal” of fine tea. Because of the great experience with this brand I started to try other flavors or as my fiancé would say I started collecting them 😉 what can I say they give my kitchen a pop of color and are easy on the eyes of my house guest, and who doesn’t like a dainty decorated pink tin after all the tin can be used for future crafts, a flower vase or to hold kitchen utensils (my crafting imagination is endless)

Would you join me for a cup of tea?

I must admit I was very skeptical about making this blog post because of its mature content but as a 27 year old woman with a niche for intimate apparel it’s something I by all means am not ashamed about.

When I opened the package it was more top-notch than expect, I was excepting an unboxed product surrounded with bubble wrap but instead it was concealed in a durable box with a magnetic clasp, wrapped in side with pink tissue paper and the lingerie inside. It felt as if I was opening a present, and who doesn’t love that?! As for the actual garment, I was excepting something a little more durable (the silver locket is light weight plastic) and possibly could’ve downsized when it came to the stripped bottoms, but the top and garter belt fit perfectly. The structure of lingerie is possibly a grade b but it doesn’t stop me from considering purchasing from the company again.

Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice

I’m a sucker for anything relating to Pumpkins! I purchased some home fragrances from Bath & Body Works to add to the ambience transitioning into fall. My home smells like baked goods, without the calories! I’m really pleased to see Bath & Body Works brought back the Sugared Doughnut candles, now if only they made it in to a body set.

What are your favorite fall scents?

Mean Muggin & Coffee Mugs

Let’s be honest, Not everyone is a “Morning Person”

image

I however like to consider myself the opposite at least as of lately! Some rely on coffee to get them through the morning and there are some who prefer a cup of tea, like me.

As a Tea Drinker [not to be confused with Tea Drinking Enthusiast] I have my specific cup I claim as my tea cup, Don’t we all have that one specific cup, the one that we only drink certain beverages out of, that we secretly declair as “hands-off” to house guest because once their hand reaches for it or sips from it things somehow become “personal, like a betrayal”

No? Maybe it’s just me being overly possessive over my tea cup :-p

Well anyway onto the premise of this blog post, I decided to share some of my favorite mugs that I own at home and would also like to add to my collection!

FISTICUP Ceramic Knuckleduster Mug

ThumbsUp! Ceramic Bat Mug

I don’t own this, however its something I’d like to own. It’s cute, cool for Batman fans, or a as seasonal halloween mug but I’d probably use it throughout all of the fall/winter season.

Thermal Battery Mug

As you pour your coffee/tea into the mug, this battery icon appears lining up to the amount of liquid poured into the mug, a way to keep an eye on how much is left to enjoy.

Hachi (Asian Cuisine)

Yesterday Martin and I enjoyed lunch at a local Asian restaurant in Brooklyn. This was our first time dinning there and the atmosphere was so nice and intimate, the decor was beautiful yet had a relaxing feel. The service was great, polite, patient and friendly which made it comfortable and enjoyable. I can say that I was satisfied with drinks and the food, especially the wasabi shrimp! We actually ordered takeout from there today for dinner, This might be my new local spot when I’m craving Asian cuisine. If you live in the Brooklyn area I recommend dinning at this restaurant.
